Fiji resort comes bouncing back
Malolo Island Fiji is close to completing an extensive refurbishment project and is on schedule to reopen its doors on August 19.
Following severe Tropical Cyclone Evan in December 2012, the resort has added a new restaurant complex comprising the Terrace Restaurant for families and Treetops, an adults-only restaurant – both overlooking the resort’s pools and gardens.
The resort is adding a new teenager lounge and an adults-only retreat.
Group general manager Steve Anstey said the extensive investment in the resort "cements Malolo as a superb destination for families, as well as offering a beautiful wedding and conference venue".
Also in the mix of improvements, Malolo has added a covered arrivals and departures bure and a fourth family bure, increasing the overall resort inventory to 46 bures.
