Fiji supporters in draw for Sofitel Queenstown Prize

Friday, 21 Mar, 2007 0

Firing up Fiji’s MICE business could lead to a cool Queenstown escape for one lucky event organiser this year.

Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa Conferencing Sales Director Natalie Brumniach says Sofitel’s 2007 PCO incentive is the perfect excuse for planners to consider Fiji for their next conference or event, and comes at an ideal time to encourage increased MICE traffic for the destination.

“PCOs who book an event to the value of AU$15,000 with Sofitel before the 31st of July 2007 automatically go in the draw to win a six-night holiday to stay at Sofitel Fiji’s sister resort, the magnificent Sofitel Queenstown*,” Ms Brumniach says.

“Despite a challenging start to the year, the Sofitel Fiji has sustained keen support and consistent enquiries from the MICE market, and we consider this incentive the perfect sweetener for planners to now cement that interest and move quickly to book with the resort.”

The luxury prize also includes return business class airfares for two courtesy of Air New Zealand, plus limousine transfers to the Sofitel Queenstown, breakfast daily, a lunch or dinner experience to the value of NZ$150, and an unforgettable scenic helicopter flight for memories to last a lifetime.

The Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa is one of nine hotels participating in the Sofitel incentive. Other hotels include:

** Sofitel Melbourne

** Grand Hotel Melbourne managed by Sofitel

** Sofitel Wentworth Sydney

** Sofitel Brisbane

** Sofitel Gold Coast

** Sofitel Reef Casino Cairns

** Sofitel Mansion Hotel & Spa

** Sofitel Queenstown, NZ

Eligible entrants who book a $15,000+ event also receive a choice of luxury gifts including dinner for two at selected French restaurants across Australia and New Zealand, such as Guillaume at Bennelong, Sydney and The French Café in Auckland; a gourmet food & wine hamper; or Le Creuset Cookware.

Sofitel’s network of hotels and resorts across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji offer a consistent level of superior service that has become synonymous with the Sofitel name.

Representing a new business chapter for what is already a popular Australian leisure destination, the F$74 million Sofitel Fiji offers one of the largest conferencing and events facilities in Fiji with eight meeting rooms and a ballroom seating up to 720 delegates theatre style and 640 for a sit down dinner.

Please quote “Sofitel Reward” at the time of booking your next Sofitel event or conference to be eligible. To book a Sofitel Fiji event please contact Natalie Brumniach on (07) 5437 8195 or email [email protected]
