Fiji to host travel agent conference

Travelscene American Express has announced that it will stage its Frontline 2008 conference in Fiji, 31 July – 03 August.

Mike Thompson said member interest in attending was particularly strong, adding, “Travelscene invests significant resources in identifying conference destinations which allow our members to acquire real and relevant information of value to their customers.”

“As economic conditions continue to tighten in Australia, Fiji’s attraction as a holiday destination for travellers continues to grow, particularly given the strong Australian dollar.”

Fiji was chosen for the conference as a direct result of active lobbying from Air Pacific and from the Fiji Islands Visitors Bureau, with both organisations providing support as principal sponsors.
