Final scoreboard for airlines’ Ashes offer

British Airways will today offer 373 return tickets to Australia for a cut price £367 under their Ashes promotional offer.

The cost was based on Australia’s first innings score in the fifth test while the number of tickets on sale was the total amassed by England.

Virgin Atlantic meanwhile slashed the cost of 402 tickets to Sydney and Melbourne by £402 – the total number of runs scored in the series by Andrew Flintoff.
