Finnair reconnects Europe and Eilat
Finnair has resumed flights to Israel’s beach hotpot Eilat after a hiatus of over two years.
The Finnish flag carrier is one of the first European airlines to fly to Eilat this year, relaunching weekly flights from Helsinki.
The first flight, operated by one of the carrier’s A321s, received a warm welcome into Ramon Airport.
Customers can fly with Finnair to Eilat from now until the end of March, expanding the airline’s choice of winter sun destinations.
Ole Orvér, Finnair Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We are excited to return to Eilat and strengthen our position as the leading airline between Finland and Israel. “
“We know our customers will be excited by the return of this route, which is important to us as we rebuild our network.”
Return flights from Helsinki to Eilat start from €332 in Economy Class, including all taxes and fees.
Finnair also flies to Tel Aviv, three times a week.
The Red Sea coastal resort of Eilat is one of Israel’s premier holiday destinations.
