First Choice offers post-booking website

Wednesday, 11 Jun, 2010 0

First Choice has launched a website section dedicated to passengers who have already booked their holiday and want to plan it out before they go.

MyFirstChoice follows on the heels of MyThomson, with the aim of getting customers fired up about their forthcoming trip before they even head off to the airport.

Users can watch videos and look at pictures of their destinations, make up an itinerary from the information given about shows and attractions in resort or see what the most popular excursions are.

They can check how to got to the airport using the online map (plus be notified of roadworks en route), choose a plane seat, check baggage allowance and flight numbers and see what’s playing in the on-board entertainment.

Passengers can also sort out airport parking, car hire and holiday insurance and even download family activities to keep kids’ travelling boredom at bay.

TUI Travel UK CRM manager Jeremy Gidley said: “When we launched MyThomson we wanted to create something that was really engaging for customers, to get them excited about their holiday, and the response to date has been incredible.

“We’re continuously looking to evolve the website and the creation of MyFirstChoice was a natural next step.

“In addition, MyFirstChoice includes some additional features designed specifically for our family customers.”
