First Hilton Garden Inn set for Hawaii
Owners of the Aston Aloha Beach Hotel Kauai, Hawaii have agreed a franchise deal with Hilton Worldwide to convert and rebrand to a Hilton Garden Inn.
The 216-room beachfront property will undergo renovation and will reopen in early 2016 as the only Hilton-branded property on the island.
It will be a comprehensive refurbishment, owners Aloha Beach Partners LLC said, with a makeover for all rooms, lobby, meeting space and exteriors.
Renamed Hilton Garden Inn Kauai/Wailua Bay, the hotel will feature a fitness center, an indoor pool and the Garden Grille and Bar.
"This signing marks a significant milestone for the Hilton Garden Inn brand as we round out our portfolio to all 50 states," said Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn.
The hotel will continue to be managed by Aston Hotels & Resorts.
