First London hotel for von Essen
Von Essen will open its first London hotel on September 12.
The 70-room hotel, also its first new build, will be at the London Heliport at Battersea.
Hotel Verta will join von Essen’s Forbury Hotel in Reading and Seaham Hall Hotel in County Durham to make up the Collection’s Metropolitan Set.
Built as part of the ‘Bridges Wharf Battersea’ development, it has already won ‘Best International High Rise Architecture Award’ at the Daily Mail International property Awards.
A shuttle service will transport hotel guests and business guests to and from Clapham Junction train station and to Victoria station throughout the day at regular intervals.
