Flair Airlines names new commercial chief
Canada’s Flair Airlines has appointed Garth Lund as new Chief Commercial Officer.
Lund brings extensive ULCC experience, having served in a number of positions in Europe with Wizz Air.
He was most recently Head of Financial Planning and Controlling.
Earlier roles include Head of Pricing and Revenue Management and Head of Network Development.
Flair considers itself the only real ultra low-cost carrier in Canada.
"Garth’s experience at the forefront of the extremely competitive European ULCC market will ensure that we bring the best possible products and pricing to Canadian customers," said CEO, Stephen Jones.
Jones was recently appointed CEO and also joined Flair from Wizz Air.
Lund said: "I am very excited to join Flair Airlines at the beginning of its growth journey. Canadian customers have long been denied the benefits of a real ULCC and Flair Airlines has a compelling mission to fill this gap."
Lund will oversee all commercial functions including network planning, scheduling, pricing and revenue management.
