Flight Centre unveils growth target
Flight Centre has pledged to continue its UK expansion by adding a further 27 shops to its network within 12 months.
The planned growth comes as many other agency chains look to cut their number of high street stores.
Head of marketing Rob Freedman, also announcing the creation of a new online marketing role, said: “We are one of the only travel retailers on the high street that is expanding. We will be looking at increasing our store numbers from 73 to almost 100 by the end of June 2006.”
The new online role has been filled by Nicole Savage whose previous role of offline marketing manager has been taken by Zoe Tring. She joins from First Choice where she was marketing manager for Hayes and Jarvis and Sovereign.
