FliterStream helps to filter and publish reviews from TripAdvisor to the hotel’s website directly
SIM Partners have unveiled a new widget that is going to create waves throughout the travel and related industry. This widget, known as the FilterStream, does exactly what the name suggests – it searches through the entire database of TripAdvisor and then smoothly filters the customer generated reviews about the specific hotel. Then it feeds them to the official website of the hotel. When new reviews are posted on TripAdvisor, they are instantly streamed to the hotel’s website – making the whole process smooth and hassle free.
This feature also ensures that only reviews above a certain rating are displayed in your webpage. That way you will not have to worry about the negative reviews about your hotel that might end up affecting your online client base.
The customer generated, third party reviews serve to add credibility to the claims of the hotel website and makes new clients have more faith and confidence on them. Thus, it is a very powerful marketing device, which should be utilized to the fullest by hoteliers. It has been observed that these third party testimonials can lead to an increase in direct website bookings, which is the most profitable channel for hoteliers.
More than 80% of travelers claim that they like to shop from third party sites, but they prefer making their booking from the branded sites. What FilterStream does is it provides the customers with the third party information that they need, without having to leave the hotel’s website.
The great thing about this widget is that you can include it in your website and easily customize it to conform to the style of your website. This feature is great for hotels, boutique hotels, resorts, B&Bs and even big hotel management companies.
