Florida sues CDC over cruise ship ban
As promised, the Sunshine State is filing a lawsuit against the CDC demanding an immediate resumption of cruise ship operations. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said: "We don’t believe the federal government has the right to mothball a major industry for over a year, based on very little evidence and very little data."
The CDC’s decision to continue banning cruise operations is ‘irrational’ and believes the legal action has a good chance of success. However legal experts believe it doesn’t have much legal merit or significance.
"Florida’s fighting back," DeSantis said, who signed an executive order banning vaccine passports, which will also apply to cruise lines.
