Florida’s Discovery Cruise Line offers packages
Discovery Cruise Line announced a new service for adult Cruise ‘N’ Stay Vacation package passengers, Discovery Plus.
Said Hanns J. Hahn, general manager of Discovery:
“Discovery Plus will enable out adult Cruise ‘N’ Stay Vacation passengers purchasing this service to embark and disembark on a priority basis and, while on board, they will enjoy separate facilities.”
The later is very similar to club lounges at airports, he added.
The new service starts 1 June. It will cost $35 per passenger per round trip sailing.
Discovery sails daily from Ft. Lauderdale to Grand Bahama Island. It also offers vacation packages to most resorts on Grand Bahama.
Discovery cruises are generally one-day events with lavish breakfast and lunch buffets. The ships depart in the early morning, arriving in the afternoon to let guests spend the day at Grand Bahama before returning.
