Flybe targeted by fake Twitter account
Flybe has warned customers not to be fooled by a fake Twitter account under the name’@flybecustcare’.
The account has now been suspended by Twitter but was claiming to be operated by the airline’s customer care team.
Flybe said the Twitter account had been reported to Twitter.
Last year, Flybe was targeted by fraudsters who were running a competition being shared on Facebook.
The competition, which even spelt the airline’s name incorrectly, offered two free ‘Flybee Airline’ tickets on its 20th birthday.
