Fog disrupts flights
Airlines were warning of possible disruption to flights this morning due to heavy fog covering parts of southern England, Wales and central Scotland.
British Airways said passengers should check the status of their flights on its website and Heathrow Airport warned of possible delays.
EasyJet said it was expecting some delays to flights to and from Southend Airport.
An air traffic control strike affecting east and southeastern French airspace could also disrupt flights travelling through this region today, warned easyJet. "Please note this is not affecting all French airspace and flights may be able to follow a different flight routing," the airline said.
