Former Crystal MD sets up site for older travellers
Debbie Marshall, the former MD of CV Travel, Crystal Holidays and Jetsave, has set up a new website for the older traveller called www.silvertraveladvisor.com.
Silver Travel Advisor invites holiday and travel reviews from mature travellers to “recognise the value of older people’s travel experiencesâ€.
Selected specialist operators, including Headwater, CV Travel, Journeys of Distinction and Kirker Holidays, are featured on the site as partners.
Marshall said: “Giving older people a voice is an opportunity to record their wealth of travel experiences online and make their advice available to others, of all ages.
“Mature travellers have more time and resources to travel and a lifetime of experience and are in an ideal position from which to evaluate and share their travel experiences.
“At Silver Travel Advisor we believe that their depth and breadth of experience is of immense value to other travellers of any age.â€
Those registering on the site can post travel reviews and photographs and can read online travel advice and recommendations by Silver Travel Advisors’ own mature travel consultants.
