Former investment banker launches holidaynanny.org
A former Goldman Sachs investment banker has set up her own specialist agency for families looking to take a nanny on holiday with them.
Set up by Nicola Grant and her husband Edward, who struggled to find a nanny for their own family holiday, http://www.holidaynanny.org/ specialises in providing nannies to accompany families on their holidays in the UK or overseas.
All nannies must have a minimum of one year’s childcare experience and speak fluent English.
Some have experience with children with special needs and some are qualified maternity nurses.
The company offers a basic package for £425 for eight days, which includes days of travel.
The services of the nanny are for 45 hours per week, a free day (not a day of travel), and 14 hours of night-time babysitting spread over maximum of four nights.
Days must not begin earlier than 7am and finish no later than 7pm (other than babysitting).
Alternative packages are available on request.
