Former MGM exec named as chief of new Resorts World Las Vegas
Resorts World Las Vegas has tapped ex-MGM Grand president Scott Sibella to head up its operations.
The huge $4 billion Resorts World Las Vegas is slated to open in 2020 on the site of the former Stardust, featuring up to 3,000 rooms.
Sibella left MGM Resorts earlier this year in a buyout and will become president and chief operating officer of Resorts World.
Vegas native Sibella had been the chief of MGM Grand since 2010 and was previously at the Mirage.
