Former Qantas exec makes a move
Brett McDougall has become regional manager South and West Europe for Qatar Airways based at the carrier’s London office.
He moves from Australia where he headed the airline’s sales development team and formerly spent 25 years with Qantas.
The appointment comes as the airline plans further expansion from the UK in addition to the start of flights from Stockholm on November 27.
The airline’s commercial general manager Ali Al Rais said: “Europe is an important strategic hub for Qatar Airways and I am confident that Brett will drive business for the airline in this highly competitive market.”
