Former US Marine arrested after bombs found in hotel room

A man was arrested near Los Angeles Airport after a bomb scare was sparked at a Denver Hotel.
 
Former US marine Adam Hayat had stayed at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel where a number of pipe bombs were reportedly found in his room.
 
He flew into Los Angeles and was arrested a Holiday Inn hotel near LAX.
 
The explosives were placed in the room safe with a note alluding to his post-traumatic stress disorder condition.
 
Hayat’s father told Denver7 news station his son suffered from PTSD, bipolar disorder and attention deficit disorder.
 
"Police said he had bought some firearms, and they were concerned that he may hurt himself or someone else," said Sultan Hayat.
 
It was reported the man had ran up an unpaid bill of $10,000 at the Denver hotel before fleeing.
 
After the devices were discovered police and bomb squad officers ordered an evacuation of the hotel.
