An investigation is underway after four people died on a theme park ride on Australia’s Gold Coast.
The Dreamworld park in Coomera has closed following the accident on the Thunder River Rapids ride.
A Queensland ambulance spokesman said a ‘malfunction’ had caused two people to be thrown from the ride while two others were trapped inside.
The two men and two women who died were in their 30s and 40s.
