Four resorts merge to create new ski area
Four ski resorts in the Pyrenees have combined under one name for the first time to create one single ski area.
Pyrenees 2 Vallees consists of Saint-Lary, Peyragudes, Piau-Engaly and Val Louron.
Together they offer 247 kilometres of runs, 166 pistes with 66 lifts and will be linked by shuttle bus.
An eight-day ski area lift pass costs €20 and entitles skiers to 10% to 15% off the usual day rate, depending on the time of season, at www.pyrenees2vallees.com.
