France travel warning
Tighter security checks are likely to cause delays to passengers using cross Channel services this Bank Holiday weekend, the Foreign Office has warned.
In an update to its travel advice for France, it is urging travellers to check their operators’ websites before leaving home.
It said: "The weekend of 27 May 2017 will see high passenger numbers using cross Channel services; there’s a risk of delays, including because of security checks; you should check the website of your chosen operator before you set off."
