Fraud squad investigating collapse of Crown Currency Exchange
Fraud officers at South Devon and Cornwall Police are liaising with the adminstrators of failed Crown Currency Exchange.
According to an update on the website of The Crown Currency Action Group, set up to help those affected by the collapse, says Paul Bean, detective inspector, head of Economic Crime Unit
Serious and Organised Crime Branch, is meeting with administrators later this week.
It adds: "Paul will be in touch with us as a group and working with us all to ensure the people responsible for our losses are brought to task.
"I hope you will see this as good news. Do not think that because this has only just been announced they have only just become involved."
It advises customers not to contact the police directly as it will put a drain on resources.
