Following the success of www.freddiscover.co.uk, Fred Olsen Travel have moved their main company website www.fredolsentravel.co.uk and their Travel Quest website www.travelquest.co.uk onto the same solution provided by CSI Media.
Fred Discover was launched in March 2016 by the Tour Operator and after only a few months of working with the software, the team decided to move more of their brands onto the system.
Using a microsite structure, the CSI Media team can roll out brands for Fred Olsen Travel quickly and easily. The CMS was highly customised initially for the Fred Discover website including the integration of some of the most popular specialist travel suppliers, and this has been transposed onto the Fred Olsen Travel website with ease.
Each of the websites also include some key features that travellers find particularly useful including an Inspiration Tool which allows you to find your perfect trip matching your preferences, customer reviews, recently viewed tours and live chat with the Tour Operator’s experts, amongst others.
The Merchandising Team at Fred Olsen Travel can also now make complicated changes which would normally require developer interaction, to a number of their brands effortlessly using the simple, single admin system. This is helped by the infrastructure of the system. All of the company’s products are in one pot, allowing the team to distribute all of their tours, holidays and travel deals between their brands at speed.
CSI Media are a highly rated RAR and Drum digital agency based in Cheshire, who were recently nominated for the eCommerce Awards 2016 for the B2B eCommerce category. They have a team of over 30 people in their digital team, many of whom are Umbraco and Sitecore certified. All of the team have experience of the designing and developing solutions for the travel sector, and can also provide full marketing services specifically aimed at the online travel industry. The services offered include SEO advice, PPC Reviews, email campaigns, print, design and app development.
