Freedom agents given another six months to access Tarsc
Freedom agents have been given another six months to access the Tarsc back office system.
Discussions have been taking place between Vertical Systems and ABTA with regards to Freedom and Freedom PTA agents retaining access to their Tarsc back-office system following the failure of Freedom and Thomas Cook last September.
The initial six-month term is shortly coming to an end, but many claims have been delayed and are still ongoing.
Vertical Systems said: "We are pleased to confirm that in the interest of our the travel agent community we have jointly agreed to extend agents access for another six-month term until the end of September 2020 to complete existing claims.
"There will then be no further extension, so any documentation required beyond that date must be downloaded/printed before then."
Vertical Systems managing director Chris North thanked John de Vial and ABTA for their continued support and said all parties agreed ‘we need to support our agency friends at this very difficult time in our industry’.
