Freudmann brothers join Seligo
Seligo has appointed Steven Freudmann as chairman and his brother Tony Freudmann as a director.
The accommodation specialist has also decided to change its contractual status with its customers, and will assume the role of principal with immediate effect.
Chief executive David Cockerton said: “These appointments and our switch to principal status demonstrate our continued commitment to travel agents.”
Steven Freudmann, who is also chairman of the ITT, chairman of Advantage Travel Centres and a director of Triton, said: “I intend to use all of my experience to help the Company grow, and we will start by accepting principal status and will follow this by seeking membership of ABTA.”
His brother, chairman of FT International, a consultancy company providing strategic advice to international businesses in the leisure sector, added: “Seligo is a very well run business, and my role will be develop the company’s strategy. I am particularly interested in acquiring new businesses in specialist niches, who could benefit from Seligo’s excellent technology and travel agent relations.”
Diane Mosson will continue as Seligo managing director.
