Frontier Airlines touts empty middle seat upgrade

Saturday, 15 Mar, 2024 0

For passengers craving a little more personal space, Frontier Airlines has a new seating option.

Fliers can pay for guaranteed empty middle seat.

Called UpFront Plus, it guarantees no occupied middle seat and has more legroom.

As the name suggests, it is toward the front of the plane providing quicker in-flight service and exiting the plane.

“Frontier is all about choice and giving consumers the flexibility to customize their travel,” Frontier Airlines CEO Barry Biffle said.

“UpFront Plus is a great option for those who want expanded personal space.”

Bookings are now live for UpFront Plus seats for travel from April 10.

Introductory prices start at $49 one way, for travel until April 30.

For travel beyond this date, the fare will be based on demand.
