Funway plans more fams
Funway Holidays plans to nearly triple the number of agents it takes on fam trips this year.
The operator took 60 agents away last year and plans to take 200 in 2012.
Managing director Stephen Rhodes said: “We are currently looking into various options for 2012, ranging from a USA Super FAM in June, to Dubai and/or Thailand fam trips to be confirmed. We will also be hosting our annual Sandals by Funway fam trips throughout the year.”
Agents will be chosed via competitions and highest booker awards to identifying individual counter staff that want the specific destination knowledge.
