Future Travel signs up with PSARA
Homeworking agency network Future Travel has become a partner of the Passenger Shipping Association Retail Agent Scheme.
The deal comes as PSARA relaunches its website with a series of new training modules for agents. The plan is to have six training modules featured by January with a further 25 to be added by April.
Under the terms of the deal 200, Future Travel homeworkers will join PSARA, bringing its membership of individual agents up to almost 4,000.
Future Travel’s homeworkers will benefit from the new training modules as many focus on strengthening existing expertise in the cruise sector. The online sessions will also help increase Future Travel’s cruise business.
PSARA business development director Andy Harmer said: “Future Travel is the first homeworking agency to sign up to the PSARA agent training scheme as a whole company, which is a real coup for us.
“A total of 157 Future Travel agents will have joined by November, which illustrates a fantastic investment by Future Travel in the training of its staff, and in ensuring that they benefit from the huge growth in cruising. Future Travel clearly recognises the economic benefit cruising can bring to a business.
“With more than 1.25 million British travellers expected to take a cruise by the end of this year, and with so many agents benefiting from what PSARA can offer, we constantly review and expand our training to make sure our members are up to date with the very latest products, trends, skills and knowledge they need. This will ensure they meet clients’ demands effectively and confidently.”
