Galileo appoints Global Marketing Communications Director
Galileo has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Harraway (left) as Director of Global Marketing Communications.
Ms Harraway was previously the Marketing Director EMEA of Galileo. In her new role she will develop the new global branding with her team and representatives from each region. She will also manage advertising, promotions, events, collateral, relationship marketing, and Galileo’s customer-facing Web presence.
Galileo said that while Elizabeth will be reporting into the new Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President in the USA, the existing EMEA marketing communications functions will continue to report to Elizabeth, and in addition new global positions will be appointed.
Prior to Galileo, Ms Harraway was most recently with Hertz Europe as Marketing Director, with pan-European responsibility for branding as well as all marketing and promotional initiatives. She also has held the position of Head of Advertising and Marketing at The Walt Disney Company, responsible for both above & below the line marketing activities for the Disneyland Paris brand in the UK region.
