Galileo removes need for manual checks on private fares
Galileo has taken some of the work out of booking private fares by adding a new feature to its Agency PrivateFares tool.
The ‘Enhanced Rules Validation’ feature means agents will no longer need to manually check the rules and restrictions that are applied to private fares as this will be done automatically upon filing the fare quote into the booking file. Importantly however, agents will still see both the public and private fares available for a specific journey on the same screen.
Commenting on the new feature, Jonathan Siddons, vice president, Product, Marketing and Development for Galileo’s EMEA region, said: “This is part of Galileo’s ongoing initiative to deliver the most advanced fares systems in the travel industry.”
