Garuda Indonesia rolling out short haul domestic premium service
Flag carrier Garuda Indonesia is introducing a new pared down version of business class on its fleet of short haul Bombardier aircraft.
The new class of service is named ‘Explore Business Class’ which is described as ‘prestige value of service’ with fares priced more competitively to attract new premium fliers.
Explore Business Class will take up the first three rows in the aircraft.
"In line with the promising market potential for short-haul flights served by the Bombardier CRJ1000, we expect the Explore Business Class to be able to accommodate market demand for the premium flight service concept," said Garuda commercial director Pikri Ilham Kurniansyah.
The service is available for booking now on Garuda’s website or mobile app and will offered for departures beginning on November 1.
