Garuda to offer onboard visa processing to Bali
Garuda Indonesia will expand its visa on-board processing facilities to all flights from Sydney to Denpasar from January 1.
The move follows the recent success of the trial phase for flights from Sydney to Jakarta.
The service allows passengers to fast track through immigration, avoid currency exchange and airport queues.
Passengers taking advantage of the new services will have their visa processed by immigration officials on-board the aircraft and payment will be processed when checking-in with Garuda at Sydney airport.
Garuda is looking to extend the service to all flights departing Australia.
