George Street Research and Consumerdata join forces to launch new travel financial omnibus survey
October 9 2007: Leading independent research company George Street Research has announced it is to launch a new travel financial omnibus product in partnership with traveller survey experts Consumerdata. Called FinACS, the new quarterly survey will target 2,000 adults across the UK who take an active interest in their own financial planning and have opted to take part. The first FinACS survey will take place in November 2007.
Commenting on the launch George Street Research managing director Jo Fawcett said;
“With our depth of experience in the financial sector and Consumerdata’s exclusive access to a large, very high quality panel we are in a position to provide a unique, flexible product to the travel marketplace. We are expecting a great deal of interest in FinACS from financial institutions, foreign exchange providers, travel insurance companies and other providers of financial based assistance to travellers.”
The panel used for FinACS will be drawn from data gathered 365 days a year from customer satisfaction surveys which are processed daily and updated weekly. Around 50,000 records are added to the file each week so that data is as up-to-date, as clean and as available to use as it is possible to be. Quality control procedures are in place at each step of the acquisition process to weed out any coding and data capture errors, data inconsistency and any bogus responders.
