Germanwings To Extend Network for Summer 2008
Germanwings, Germany’s premiere low cost airline, has announced that it will add three new destinations from it’s largest base at Cologne/Bonn airport during Summer 2008: Bordeaux, Riga and Pula in Istria.
The airline will operate flights twice a week to Pula, the largest town on the Croatian peninsula of Istria; three times a week to the Latvian capital of Riga and also three times a week to the French town of Bordeaux.
In addition Germanwings will add three more flights per week from Cologne/Bonn to Lisbon, taking the total number to ten; and three more flights a week to Stockholm, taking the total to nine. New earlybird connections will make it possible to fly to the Swedish capital and return the same day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
From the UK, Germanwings will continue to offer direct routes each week to the following destinations:
To Cologne/Bonn: from Edinburgh (5x); London Stansted (16x) and Dublin (3x)
To Stuttgart: from London Stansted (12x)
