Get Ready To Rock On the Simpsons Rollercoaster!

Thursday, 03 Dec, 2007 0

The Simpsons, the blockbuster hit series, is the inspiration for the Universal Orlando Resort’s new theme park ride that opens Spring 2008.

Guests will be rocketed along with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson on a hysterical, almost unimaginable adventure.  They’ll experience a side of Springfield previously unexplored as they enjoy the new ride’s interpretation of thrill rides, dark rides and “live” shows that make up a new fantasy amusement park dreamed up by the show’s cantankerous Krusty the Clown.

Hit pre-teenage musical film High School Musical is to be recreated at an interactive show as part of a range of new attractions for 2008 at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida

‘High School Musical 2: School’s Out’ is inspired by Disney Channel’s record-breaking, original film, as the cast invites guests to join in as they sing and dance along to the movie’s hit tunes.

Toy Story Mania, will combine the characters from the Disney•Pixar Toy Story films with latest technology to create an interactive, 3D ride-through video game.  Guests board vehicles and, using spring-action shooters, launch darts at balloons, toss rings at aliens and throw eggs at barnyard targets to see who can score the most points.

Jedi Training Academy, is described as an “intergalactic entertainment experience,” created with Lucasfilm and inspired by the Star Wars films.

Playhouse Disney-Live on Stage is aimed at preschool children featuring favourites from Disney Channel programmes including Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins and Handy Manny.

A Pirate’s Life for Me builds on the popularity of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean films and attractions, with a series of pirate skill tests.
