Accommodation-provider Getabed.co.uk has taken its contracting of transfers in house, making it easier for agents to book.
The trade-only company says the move means prices have dropped by as much as 30% in some areas and it can offer anything from coaches to Hummers.
Managing director Matt Stuart said: “In the past 12 months we have been working really hard to get the very best transfer providers onboard. This means we’re able to compete on price with the transfer specialists.
"However thanks to an integrated online system agents can view accommodation and transfers at the same time, in the same online ‘basket’. There’s no need to hop from site to site. It’s seamless.”
Around 85% of Getabed’s destinations can be reached by the new transfer system.
Stuart added: “By making it easier to book transfers, we’ve seen an increase of almost 25 per cent in the number of transfers sold. It just goes to show that simplicity and ease-of-use really are the key components for agents.”
