Girl’s body found following Thai tourist ferry fire
The body of a 12-year-old girl has been found following a fire on a passenger ferry in Thailand.
More than 100 tourists were plucked from the Andaman Sea as the Ao Nang Princess ferry was engulfed in flames on Wednesday.
The young girl, an Israeli who was travelling with her family, is believed to have been trapped inside the toilet as the vessel sank, just five miles off the Krabi coast. Her body was found by divers yesterday.
The blaze broke out as the ferry travelled from Krabi to Phuket. Several Britons were amongst the tourists onboard.
