Scottish sunseekers have four more options for getting away this winter following the launch of new Ryanair routes out of Glasgow Prestick this week.
Southern Scots can now escape to Alicante, Arrecife (Lanzarote), Palma and, from today, Las Palmas in Gran Canaria.
Airport owner Infratil’s chief commercial officer Graeme Sweenie said: “With a new route to Ibiza due to start in March next year, extra flights to Faro, Malaga and Tenerife and our well-established routes to Girona and Reus, Glasgow Prestwick offers the widest choice and the lowest fares for winter sun bar none.”
He added: “These new routes are a huge vote of confidence in Glasgow Prestwick by Europe’s largest low fares airline.”
