Global agents invited to sign up for ‘Global Gatherings’
Places are still available for ‘Global Gatherings’, a new regional networking initiative by The Global Travel Group.
A series of events are taking place this month in the north and south of the UK.
Typically capped at 20 people, the networking sessions allow agents to get to know other Global members within their areas, make new friends and share best practice.
Agents will gather in Cardiff on March 15, Warrington on March 20, Liverpool and Dartford on March 21, Southampton on March 26, and Crawley and Glasgow on March 28.
Global Gatherings have already been held in Harrogate, Leeds, Reading, Hemel Hempstead and Derby.
The agent consortium said early feedback has identified demand for more regular events.
Commercial director Cherie Richards said: "The industry often talks about how it is a ‘people business’, but it is very easy to forget that many independent agents might work alone as homeworkers or as part of small teams.
"These events are proving a great way for agents to develop the support networks that they need to take their businesses from strength to strength.
"We have been really encouraged by the participation rate. There are spaces still available for the events later in March and going forwards we hope to hold these events quarterly."
