Globus says it’s all in the family
GLobus has launched what it calls its first-ever intergenerational family vacation packages.
“Designed for intergenerational travel, Globus now offers nine family-oriented trips that span from coast to coast in the US, as well as Europe and Central America,” says the company in a news release.
Scott Nisbet, the company’s vice president of sales and marketing, said the move was made because the American family vacation has evolved to include more generations than ever before.
“Through research, we learned that 38% of travelers are looking for cultural and educational activities to share. This fits perfectly with what we’re offering,” he said.
Globus Family Vacations are shorter than the usual trips, and include guided sightseeing in each destination.
Globus says it simplifies intergenerational family travel by providing complete logistical support. Said Mr Nesbit:
“We handle the vacation details and itineraries so families have more time to explore their destination and create memories that will last a lifetime.”
Trips include a “Week in London and Paris” and an 11-day “Essential Europe” vacation.
Discounts of $150 are being offered on the air-inclusive price of some of the new travel offerings.
