Go First fined for abandoning passengers
Indian carrier Go First was hit with an airline fine for leaving a busload of passengers stranded on the tarmac.
The Go First flight took off for New Delhi after forgetting about 55 people left on a bus at Bengluru Airport.
An airline fine of $12,250 was imposed after the Directorate General of Civil Aviation investigated the incident.
The passengers had to wait for four hours for another flight.
The DGCA blamed poor communication and coordination between the airline and ground handling partners.
