Gogo Wi-Fi passes offered through Sabre

Tuesday, 18 Aug, 2016 0

In-flight Wi-Fi supplier Gogo will offer Wi-Fi passes to US travel agents through its newly launched Sabre Red App.

Sabre connected agents who book travel via the Sabre Red App will be able to upsell with pre-purchased Wi-Fi passes at a discount on Gogo enabled flights.

The pass offers up to 24 hours of uninterrupted wireless Internet access on participating airlines flying within the US, Canada, and Mexico.

"This Red App will enable travel agents to offer customers an amenity that has become a must have for travelers," said Alison Colquhoun, vice president of product marketing at Sabre Travel Network.

Gogo has established partnerships with 17 commercial airlines and has installed its tech on more than 2,800 commercial jets.

"What better way to do that than to partner with the leader in global travel technology and arm the tens of thousands of travel agents that use the Sabre Red App to book client travel so they can easily add in-flight Wi-Fi to their trip," said Gogo chief commercial officer Ash A Eldifrawi.
