Gold Medal adds Australia packages, launches agent incentive
International visitors into Western Australia no longer need to test on arrival.
The easing of restrictions also sees the requirement of the G2G pass registration gone and masks are no longer mandatory.
Travellers into Western Australia must be double vaccinated.
The easing of curbs has been hailed by Gold Medal, which launched a series of new Australian packages.
“Australia overall has performed well but in recent weeks we’ve seen enquiries for Perth overtake Melbourne and Brisbane with some significant sales,” Gold Medal’s interim Sales And Marketing Director, Nick Hughes, said.
“Demand is concentrated around Christmas but we are starting to see some strong numbers into 2023 with motorhomes and trains like the Indian Pacific booking well.”
New Australian packages include a 13-day Sydney, Reef and Rottnest package and two nights glamping next door to quokkas on Rottnest Island.
To boost sales Gold Medal is running an agent incentive until 22 May.
Agents booking a package can win a £3,000 holiday in WA.
Agents need to book a package including flights in or out of Western Australia and room nights in the state with Gold Medal until 22 May 2022.
