Great Lakes rebrand a Success!
Following the launch of its rebrand at World Travel Market 2011, Great Lakes USA will be highlighting its first year of success at the show in November.
The region, comprising of the neighbouring states of Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana and Ohio, has recently seen a dramatic rise in UK visitor numbers.
Hot on the heels of the Virgin Holidays Great Lakes flydrive tour, Vacations to America launched a new tour earlier this year and AmeriCan & Worldwide Travel and Trailfinders are following suit with new itineraries currently being developed.
The inspiring itineraries offered by Virgin Holidays and Vacations to America address the increased needs of UK holiday-makers looking for a varied element within their holiday. The wide appeal of the Great Lakes ensures that a visit can incorporate components to suit singles, couples and families based on their personal preferences.
Toby McCarrick, Executive Director of Great Lakes USA said: "Tour operators have been waiting for someone to come up with exciting itineraries like this for a while now, TourMappers produced three inspiring itineraries for the Great Lakes region and we are delighted that Virgin Holidays is one of the first UK tour operators to develop one of these tours. We look forward to seeing even more tour operators follow suit."
The Great Lakes USA stand (NA270) will host more partners than before with representatives from Pure Michigan; Discover Illinois; Traverse City; Pure Michigan; John Hancock Observatory Chicago and Bloomington, Minnesota all highlighting their attractions within the region.
