Greatest travel deal of all time?
One of the great travel deals of all time is still available, says Ellen Creager of the Detroit Free Press.
It’s Eastern Tours Consolidated’s "The Land of the Tzars" tour. It’s priced at just $1,299 this fall and $999 this winter.
It includes eight days in St. Petersburg and Moscow with tours, transportation, guides and round-trip airfare from New York. The only extras are $186 for a Russian visa, airport tax of $495 and meals.
“This budget tour was the subject of a Free Press story in 2005 and is highly recommended for people who are interested in seeing the sights and accept three-star accommodations,” wrote Creager.
