Green Globe Index Announces Enters Greece and Cyprus Markets

LONDON –(PR NEWSWIRE)—July 14, 2009–Green Globe Index, today announced a licensing agreement with Green Wealth, Ltd., a UK based company, to facilitate the delivery of Green Globe tools and services to the Greece and Cyprus markets.

Included in the Green Globe licensed products that will be marketed into Greece and Cyprus are the Green Globe Index tool (www.greenglobeindex.com), which allows clients to calculate their CO2e footprint, the financial cost of that CO2e, and to track their performance of energy and water consumption and non-recyclable waste production; Green Globe Certification, the leading international green certification for tourism businesses (www.greenglobecertification.com); and a variety of additional Green Globe sustainability consulting services.

The agreement calls for there to be a Green Globe Summit held in the Greece/Cyprus market by October 30, 2009. Green Globe Certification Summits offer a unique opportunity for interested businesses, hotels and individuals to attend a conference and training on how to use Green Globe Index for environmental cost savings, community benefits, and enhance their marketing. Innovation for Sustainable Development Centre, a US non-profit organization, will have some of its special advisors, associates and fellows on hand to help develop innovative approaches to developing their green economy.
