Meetings & Conventions magazine and Travel Portland have arranged a two webinars entitled “The Business Case for Green Meetings,†and “Going Green: How to Get Started,â€
The purpose of the webinars is to demonstrate:
– How green events can save money and demonstrate strong social responsibility.
– The five basic steps for getting started.
– Easy ways to find green suppliers.
– Lodging, event venue, exhibitor, catering and transportation options.
– How to measure ROI.
The webinars will take place on 12 March and 16 April Respectively.
Panellists include Nancy J. Wilson, CMP and Amy Spatrisano, CMP, principals of Meeting Strategies Worldwide and co-founders of the Green Meetings Industry Council., Shawna McKinley, interim Executive Director of the Green Meeting Industry Council and former General Manager for Oceans Blue Foundation
and Bernie Schraer, group publisher of M&C magazine.
