Group Up For More Fun and Rewards

P&O Cruises has made traveling with friends even more fun – for passengers and their travel agents – with three great group booking offers.

The cruise line is offering one free berth to travel agents booking a group of 16 passengers on Pacific Sky, Pacific Sun or Pacific Star cruises departing from May 2006 until April 2007, with agents able to pass on the free ticket to clients or retain it for agency use.

Under the offer, group bookings will also attract discounts of up to 40 per cent on full brochure fares.

Plus passengers booked in groups will receive one of two bonus packages including an $100 onboard credit per adult for a 10+-night cruise, or a cocktail party, bottle of wine and a $75 onboard credit per adult.

“Group bookings offer travel agents the opportunity to promote themselves as cruising specialists and encourage repeat business, while also offering clients even better value for money on our wide range of cruises to the South Pacific, north Queensland and Asia,” P&O Cruises Australia Managing Director Gavin Smith said.

Mr Smith said the group booking offers were designed to appeal to passengers and travel agents, and help agents build business.

“Not only will travel agents earn commission with each passenger booked on a P&O cruise, they will also have the chance to earn their agency a free berth to send a group escort, use as an employee incentive or put toward future mailing or advertising promotions. Or they can offer the free berth to their client as a reward for booking.”

Itineraries available for group bookings include:

  • A seven-night cruise on Pacific Star from Brisbane to northern Queensland departing November 11, 2006, available from $1455 per person in a complete twin cabin*.

  • A 10-night cruise on Pacific Sun from Sydney to New Caledonia, the Loyalty Islands and Vanuatu departing February 19, 2007, available from $2061 per person in a complete twin cabin*.

  • Seven-night cruises on Pacific Sky from Singapore to Malaysia and Thailand available from $1455 per person in a complete twin cabin*.

For more information on how to register your group, contact P&O Cruises on 1300 361 919 or email [email protected]

*Fares are based on accommodation in a complete twin inside cabin. Group bookings are subject to availability per cruise and various conditions apply.
